We believe in creating and maintaining a movement practice that is tailored to each and every individual mover. A practice that will evolve as the body and mind evolves; adapting based on the needs and the desires of the individual.  We meet you where you are and work with you to get to where you want to be.  Maybe you are looking to gain more flexibility, maybe you want to try out a style of movement that you have never tried before.  Whatever your reasons are for taking part in a movement session with us, trust that you will find what you are looking for and that you will be taken care of with compassion, creativity, and professionalism.   

 

We offer both group and private one-on-one sessions.  Classes range from 30 to 60 minutes in length.  The variety of movement sessions offered, include Wellness with Alyssa's signature class: BARRE AS YOU ARE, Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Personal Training in-studio & in-home, and Wedding Dance Choreography.  To experience a movement session loaded with fun and challenging movements with a sense of community, opt for group classes.  For more detailed personal instruction, opt for private one-to-one sessions.

Our purpose behind each and every movement session is to promote healthy body awareness, mindful movement and confidence in moving the body pain-free.  Discovering and maintaining movement that is enjoyable and sustainable is at the core of our beliefs.

Alyssa has been working within the health and wellness industry since 2012.  Moving the body was always an important and essential part of life for Alyssa as she danced for many years before immersing herself into her career as a Wellness Professional.  Through the years, she has become certified in many different practices including: Personal Training, Pilates Mat, Pilates Apparatus, Barre, TRX, Water Fitness and Zumba.  She is currently taking a strong interest in bodyweight training and fusing elements of Pilates and dance with traditional strength training modalities to create well rounded and efficient movement sessions, as can be experienced in a BARRE AS YOU ARE class.

​

Alyssa shares her passion of movement with an equal amount of love and appreciation for the arts.  She holds a BFA from the Atlanta College of Art, in addition to the numerous fitness and wellness certifications she has acquired through the years.

In her free time, she can be found escorting her 8 year old son to club soccer practices and tournaments, and soaking up all the beauty found on the majestic island of Hilton Head that she has called home for many, many years.

Alyssa hopes to share with you a unique style of movement that is accessible to everyBODY, builds strength in both the body and mind, and becomes something that is endured for a lifetime.  It is a practice; an ADAPTIVE MOVEMENT PRACTICE.
